Tormek T-3 Water Cooled Sharpening System

The T3 model is ideal for sharpening cabinet making hand tools, knives, scissors and wood carving tools. You will be certain to grind your plane irons and chisels with a perfectly square edge using the latest design jig which is included with the T3. It also comes with the unique Tormek handbook, where you can learn everything you need to know to shape, sharpen and hone your tools to perfection. The T3 is built in Sweden to the same quality and precision as all Tormek products in the range which ensures accuracy and ease of use. The heart of the system is a powerful industrial AC motor, which will maintain all the drive you need from start to finish on the 200mm(8") diameter stone.The stainless steel shaft and hardware eliminate any risk of corrosion and there is a seven year warranty. Tormek SVS-32 Short Tool Jig

From Tormek comes a jig for sharpening short carving tools and chisels down to 45mm long, including power carving tools (Bosch, Proxxon, AMT etc). Used in conjunction with the Universal Support, the jig is automatically held square to the grindstone.

Tormek SVD-185 Turning Tool Jig

For sharpening bowl, spindle and fingernail turning gouges and most carving gouges up to 1" wide and, in its latest form, multi-tip scraper blades with mounting holes from 5mm to 8mm diameter. The benefits re-grinding a gouge to the fingernail form are two-fold: firstly, the risk of digging in is greatly reduced and, secondly, the increased length of edge of the fingernail shape makes the gouge far more versatile and controllable. The SVD-185 not only allows the grinding of an even, symmetrical shape but allows different lengths of side edges to be produced all with the same bevel angle. Each jig comes with a set of labels so that you can record the jig settings for each gouge for future reference.

Tormek LA-120 Profiled Leather Honing Wheel

For the honing and polishing of the inside of turning gouges, woodcarving gouges and V-parting tools, Tormek have developed a profiled leather honing wheel, made of solid tanned leather. The diameter of the larger wheel is 120 mm (4 3/4"), which speeds up the honing process. The sharp profile for V-parting tools is specially treated for optimum function and life. This wheel has exchangeable leather discs so you can easily replace a disc with a worn tip. Discs with alternative, narrower profiles are available as optional extra. The two standard discs have a radius of 3 mm (1/8") and a 60° tip. You can mount double LA-120 wheels, one with standard profiles and one with set of narrow discs, and thus have access to four various profiles at the same time. The design has a large, deep space between the two profiles and therefore permits inside honing of tools with wide and deep profiles and small turning gouges.

Tormek SP-650 Stone Grader

A unique double-sided stone that, when applied to the Supergrind or SB-250 Blackstone Silicon stone, will make it cut finer for honing at 1000 grit or coarser for rough initial grinding at 250 grit. It can also be used to dress or open out the stone should the cutting performance deteriorate.
