Lamello have produced yet another innovative approach to the glued joint. This biscuit is a self clamping insert which pulls together and holds the timber components while the glue cures. Using the same configuration as the number 20 biscuit the insertion slot is produced with your biscuit jointer. The biscuit / insert which is made from glass fibre reinforced plastic for rigidity and durability is hammered home dry, the specially shaped barbed ridges creating the clamping action and locking the components together to form mitre, 'T' and butt joints. The E20L inserts measure 56 x 11.5 x 4mm and are suitable for material in excess of 50mm wide, whilst the E20H are 27 x 23 x 4mm. Mixed pack of 80 contains 40 of each.
