These Colt 5 star lip and spur drills have many advantages over standard lip and spur drill bits. Manufactured from the highest quality HSS-M2 steel for maximum wear resistance, they have a self cutting centre point, with the flute set to a 25 degree angle to remove chips quickly and a 'twinland' flute design so that wood chips do not become trapped. Drills over 12mm diameter have reduced shanks (13mm).
