We have given considerable thought to the way we offer woodturning chucks to our customers and we came to the conclusion that they might like to choose which set of jaws they purchase with the chuck for work holding. There may also be customers that would like to purchase a second chuck and already have several sets of jaws. With this in mind, we are now offering our woodturning chucks with just the accessory mounting jaws which accept any of the jaw sets manufactured by us. Offering some unique work holding solutions to woodturners, the K10 with a 1" x 8tpi (ref T04M) thread is our most popular chuck, and is supplied complete with a chuck key and instruction manual

Axminster Type C Dovetail Jaws

One of the most versatile and popular jaw sets, the C jaws expand into a 69mm recess and have a stepped shoulder for an internal grip onto a 56mm spigot diameter. Recommended range: 50-70mm internal, 65-85mm external. Especially useful for smalll bowls and end grain work such as boxes and goblets. Useful accessories for these jaws include the screw chucks/faceplate drives, faceplate rings and morse taper carriers which allow the fitting of drive centres without removing the chuck from the lathe.

Axminster Screw Chuck Faceplate/Drive for C Jaws

This enhanced version of the popular SCREW C Screw Chuck, enables extra flexibility, and can also be used as a faceplate and drive centre. Comes complete with both a large and small stainless steel central woodscrew, three drive dogs and standard woodscrews when using as a faceplate. A truly versatile accessory to complement the Axminster Chucking System.
