Flexcut's own Peter Berry will be demonstrating at the Axminster Skill Centre in Devon on the 14th and 15th September 2010.

Peter Berry is one of the most well known woodcarvers in the UK. His relaxed and easy style has made him a regular at some of the best known demonstrations and courses throughout the UK.

Peter has already produced An Easy Guide to Carving but now is your chance to discover the skills of carving hands-on with the man himself! Using simple carving tools he will ensure you learn the basics of carving quickly, and are able to carve for yourself by the end of the course.

This two day course is suitable for absolute beginners or carvers who have some experience in the craft. Students are guided through a project suitable for their level of experience from the creation of plans to cutting out, roughing, detailing finishing and mounting. There will be the opportunity to experience different methods of carving whilst aiming towards at least one completed project. A flexible approach means that the course can be adapted to individual requirements on the day!
